Are you ready to take the next step in your academic journey?

Join our College Transition Program designed specifically for high school through first-year college students with ASD and/or ADHD. This comprehensive program focuses on building critical Executive Function Skills and Social Confidence Skills to ensure a smooth and successful transition to college life.

Program Highlights:

  • One-on-One Psychology Coaching

Our program is specifically designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or ADHD, addressing the unique challenges you may face. You will receive personalized guidance tailored to your unique needs and goals. Our expert psychology staff understand your needs and are dedicated to help you succeed.

  • Neurology Treatment Review

Ensure that you have had a comprehensive medical work-up and medication review.

  • Executive Function Skills Training

Develop essential skills such as organization, time management, and goal-setting to help you thrive in a college environment.

  • Social Confidence and Life Skills Development

Enhance your ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and navigate social situations with confidence. Learn the building blocks of “adulting” that you will need on campus.

  • Flexible Start Dates

Begin the program while you're in high school and continue through your first year of college.

 

Program Details:

The College Transition Program is for students in 10th grade through first year of College.

    • The first month an assessment is done and consists of two on-line visits.
      • The first visit will be a one hour appointment with Neurology to review history, medications, and determine any additional medical testing needs.
      • The second visit you will meet your coach (one of our psychology staff), discuss the overview of the program, participate in a 2 hour assessment of life and college transition skills, and discuss any additional testing needs.
    •  Ongoing months will consist of monthly one hour online meetings with your coach covering:
      • Strategies to work on growth areas highlighted in the initial assessment.
      • Curricular modules, which may include:
        • Executive function skills
        • Organization and Time management
        • Self-care and Life skills
        •  Self-advocacy
        • Peer relationships
        • College Selection, Applications and Scholarships
        • Targeted skill-building between sessions

The program cost is $750 for the initial assessment and $200/month ongoing. Contact our office to get started or if you have any questions!
