Amanda Bettis

Since joining KidsLink in August 2019, Mandie has received extensive training from Dr. Nevada Reed on neurodevelopmental and neurobehavioral disorders, including ADHD, anxiety, autism, depressive disorders, PANDAS, Tourette's disorder, and impulse control disorders. She is deeply committed to family-centered care and is eager to support both patients and their families at KidsLink. 

Mandie holds a Primary Care Pediatric Mental Health Specialist (PMHS) certification, which recognizes her specialized knowledge and skills in managing pediatric developmental, behavioral and mental health conditions. This certification enhances her ability to provide comprehensive care by integrating mental health support into her pediatric practice. 

With over ten years of experience in pediatric neurology at Akron Children's Hospital, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, Mandie brings a wealth of expertise. During her time at Akron Children’s, she also served as a Clinical Coordinator for a unit focused on pediatric neurosurgery, epilepsy monitoring, and inpatient rehabilitation. Outside of work, Mandie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
