Ashley Toussant

Ashley Toussant graduated from Walsh University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career at Akron Children's, working for over six years on the inpatient Neurology floor and in the ER, before coming to Kidslink in 2021. In 2023, Ashley graduated from the University of Cincinnati as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

During Ashley's time at Kidslink, she has undergone intensive training from Dr.Nevada Reed. She has significant experience treating children with neurologic and neurobehavioral conditions and understands autism spectrum disorders not only as a provider but also as a family member. She enjoys working with children and young adults who are medically complex and has expertise in transitioning patients to eventual adult medical care.

Ashley has always had a passion for working with patients with special needs and believes that family-centered care and collaborative care are essential for the best success of her patients. 

In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, and traveling with her husband and Chocolate lab, Ruger.
