Mikaela Uhlman, M.Ed., Ed.S. is a licensed school psychologist with KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Ohio Wesleyan University followed by a Masters of Education and Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology at Kent State University. During her training, she completed apprenticeships in early intervention and early childhood education. Prior to joining KidsLink, Mrs. Uhlman served as a school psychologist in public school settings providing services to students in grades preschool through high school. In addition to her role as an evaluator, she has served on crisis intervention, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and positive behavior intervention support teams. Her experiences as a school psychologist have provided her with an extensive understanding of special education policies and procedures. Mrs. Uhlman has continued her education by becoming certified in cognitive therapy and trauma and resilience.
At KidsLink, Mrs. Uhlman specializes in psychoeducational evaluations that address cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs as they relate to learning. She works closely with families and educators to provide evaluations and recommendations of evidenced based approaches to address the individual needs of each child. Mrs. Uhlman also provides individual counseling services to children and adolescents. When Mrs. Uhlman is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, volunteering, and traveling.
